Entry Hall - The entry hall features a custom designed steel staircase with Edelman
leather tread insets. The Chinese chest and Asian artwork came from the client's previous
home. |

Living Room (View 1) - The view from across the Christian Liagre writing desk features an oversized
Chinese sign purchased in Chicago. Halogen lighting mounted from the two story ceiling
provides soft illumination and drama. Jim Thompson pomagranate silk pillows and Asian
lacquered boxes provide the major burst of color in the caramel and black scheme. |
|
Living Room (View 2) - Even with the Sears Tower looming in the background, the custom designed
ebony bookcase commands attention. Nearly nine feet in height, it provides needed storage as
well as a place to showcase the homeowner's extensive collection of Asian artifacts. |

Living Room (View 3) - This view from the loft provides a birds eye perspective of the Living Room
as well as downtown Chicago. The homeowner prefers simple straight lines and classic
contemporary styling. The sofa and leather ottoman table are from Christian Liagre at Holly
Hunt, and the chairs are from John Boone. The lamps are Ralph Lauren, and the
accessories are antique. |
|
Master Bathroom - The master bathroom is completely panelled in rich dark mahogany, with granite
floors and counter tops. The nickel plated hardware, faucets, and light fixtures add drama
and sparkle. |
